The Red Tails of the Grand Canyon

Red Tailed Hawks. The flying traits of the Red Tailed Hawk is similar to the eagle but with a wingspan of 4 feet, it is much smaller than an eagle. Identifiable by its white underside, reddish tail, brown head, and brown back, the red-tailed hawk sometimes drops rattlesnakes from great heights to kill them, before feasting on their meals… a whole new meaning of “dropping in for lunch”!
