We offer chartered trips for dates listed on our motorized expedition schedule. Early booking is recommended to ensure availability. The prices for a private trip, including all associated costs, are as follows:

2025 Pricing

One raft (1-14 persons): $42,900.00

Deposit: $1,000 at the time of reservation

First payment: $20,450 due by January 15, 2025

Final payment: $21,450 du 120 days prior to the trip

Two rafts (15-28 persons): $85,800.00

Deposit: $2,000 at the time of reservation

First payment: $40,900 due by January 15, 2025

Final payment: $42,900 due 120 days prior to the trip

2026 Pricing

One raft (1-14 persons): $42,900.00

Deposit: $1,000 at the time of reservation

First payment: $21,750 due by January 15, 2026

Final payment: $22,750 due 120 days prior to the trip

Two rafts (15-28 persons): $91,000.00

Deposit: $2,000 at the time of reservation

First payment: $43,500 due by January 15, 2026

Final payment: $45,500 due 120 days prior to the trip

These prices include round-trip transportation from Las Vegas, Nevada, deluxe meals, all sleeping and camping equipment, waterproof duffle bags, and waterproof camera cases.

How It Works: Organizing Your Private Trip

Organizing a private chartered trip requires one designated trip organizer who will work directly with our office to arrange all the details. Here's how the process works:

  • Select Your Trip:

    Choose a date from our current motorized expedition schedule. The date and number of rafts you wish to reserve should be finalized early, as availability is limited.

  • Determine Your Group

    You can book one raft for up to 14 guests, or up to two rafts for 15-28 guests. The flexibility allows you to tailor the group size to your preferences.


  • Deposit and Payment

    The deposit and payment structure is outlined for both 2025 and 2026 trips, with the following payment breakdown:


    • Deposit: Paid at the time of reservation
    • First payment: Due by January 15 of the respective year
    • Final payment: Due 120 days prior to the trip departure
  • Responsibilities of the Trip Organizer:

    The trip organizer will handle the following tasks:


    • Provide each trip member with detailed information, including the Grand Canyon Expeditions brochure and any required forms.
    • Submit a list of trip members, including birth dates, addresses, email addresses, and medical/dietary restrictions, no later than 90 days prior to departure.
    • Ensure all acknowledgment-of-risk forms are signed and returned.
    • Handle deposits and payments on behalf of the group. All payments should be made by a single check or credit card.
  • Cancellations and Refunds:

    • A deposit of $1,000.00 (for one raft) or $2,000.00 (for two rafts) is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due in two payments: 50% by January 15, and the final balance 120 days prior to departure.
    • Refunds are available for cancellations made more than 120 days before departure, with a $500 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 120 days are non-refundable.
