Colorado River rafting adventure

Have you ever wanted to go on Colorado River rafting adventures, but haven’t had the time or people to go with? Sure, it’s bigger than an easy weekend getaway to your cabin up north or the nearby beach, but a Grand Canyon expedition is a truly unique and special experience you’ll have with you for a lifetime. With an average depth of about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers), the Canyon travels 277 miles (446 km) in total.

One of the coolest things you’ll encounter on a Colorado River rafting adventure is schist, a type of metamorphic rocks the river cuts through. Schist is one of the oldest known elements on the plant at 1.75 billion years old, nearly half the age of the Earth.

If the desire is there, maybe it’s just a matter of finding the right reasons to take the Colorado River rafting adventure you’ve always dreamed of. Consider these three occasions as the perfect opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime.

    1. Company Bonding Trip: If you’re the boss of your own company, or perhaps have the ear of the person in charge, consider making your next company retreat a river rafting adventure. It’s a great way to experience the majestic canyon, while also contributing to your actual work productivity. There’s no better way to get to know the guy who works in the cube next to you then by humming down a Colorado River rafting adventure together.

    1. Bachelor/Bachelorette Party: Las Vegas trips are so cliche. Why not skip the trip to Sin City to take an excursion that will really get your adrenaline pumping? A trip like this is best shared among friends and what better one to share it with than the guy or gal who’s about to enter a new part of their life.

  1. Family Vacation: Similar to sharing it with friends, family is the ultimate group to go on this kind of adventure with. If there’s one kind of trip you should try to make room in your budget for, it’s definitely one with the entire family. Nothing says “I love you” like furiously paddling down one of the world’s greatest natural wonders.

Outdoor activity is an important part of people’s lives. Taking a trip that combines the people you know and love with the majestic outdoors is a great way to spend your time and money. In fact, approximately 77% of Americans view outdoor recreation as an important part of their lives. If you’re one of them, try working one of these excuses to achieve the dream Colorado River rafting adventure you’ve always wanted.

  1. I thought that river rafting for a family vacation would be a great idea. My family likes to go on adventurous trips every summer and we haven’t gone rafting, yet. I hope to be able to convince my parents to go rafting for the next family trip.
